A yacht charter in Croatia will allow you to sail from city to city along the coast, as well as from island to island off the mainland. If you opt for the first choice, start your sailing charter in Zadar and continue south through Sibenick, Primošten, Trogir, and finish in Dubrovnik.

For island-hopping, try the Kornati archipelago, the densest in the Mediterranean. It is located in central Dalmatia, south of the city of Zadar. This group of 147 islands of exceptional beauty is famous for the fascinating waterfalls of Krka Park, but also for vivid night life in the city of Vodice. There are no permanent settlements in Kornati. Simple houses in sheltered coves such as Vruje, Kravjačica, Lavsa are used by as temporary shelters. In 1980, the southern part of the archipelago, also called Donji Kurnat (Lower Kurnat) was declared a national park. Other Croatian islands worthy of note while sailing Croatia are Piškera, Palagruža and Korčula.

Korčula, the sixth largest Adriatic island, belongs to the central Dalmatian archipelago. The island is largely covered with the Mediterranean flora; at some places are pine forests. The old town of Korčula is a genuine example of Croatian soul: unique architecture, surrounding villages with specific local customs, splendid vineyards and vine cellars with Dalmatian wines, known since ancient times and produced from autochthonous varieties of grapes. Korčula is also famous for being the birthplace of Marco Polo, the famous XIIIth century globetrotter. A sailboat charter is one way of following in his footsteps.

The island of Vis, dating from the 4th century, is a very interesting location for diving, thanks to the famous natural phenomena of Biševo (Blue Cave) and vast sandy beaches. Another charming place on the island is the small town of Komiža, originating from an old fishermen settlement.
