Richard & Adele both hail from Cape Town in South Africa. Having grown up along the coast they both have had their lives shaped by the ocean.
After completing a degree in Animal Sciences, Richard achieved a RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certificate and has logged in excess of 25 000 nautical miles cruising from the rugged South African coastline to the tidal waters of Western Scotland and England and most recently the clear blue Caribbean sea.
Richard is a qualified life guard and PADI Dive Master and loves to surf and wake-board and is ever willing to pass on any skills he has acquired to willing guests. His outgoing attitude accompanied with his professionalism ensures that a vacation on board SEAZEN II will be one to remember for ever.
Adele honed her culinary skills since a young age and is ever experimenting with new and exciting dishes. The daughter of a Navy diver, she is completely at ease above and below the waters surface and it was only natural to combine her love for cooking and sailing. Having completed a gourmet culinary course specially designed for the yachting industry, she will dazzle you with her culinary flair and innovation.
Richard & Adele were married in Sept. 2011. This award winning team has received glowing testimonials and numerous accolades including "Best Catamaran" as well as "Best Boat" in the prestigious CYS Crewed Yacht Charter Show held annually in Tortola, BVI.
