Sunreef Yachts Charter was delighted to share a memorable experience onboard our luxury catamaran CHE for a FAM Trip cruising the top charter destinations of St. Barths and St. Maarten. On Feb. 23 our Sunreef Yachts Charter USA Director, Martha Lukasik was joined with 5 other brokers and journalist who embarked on an unforgettable crewed charter presented by CHE.


THE CHE CHARTER EXPERIENCE:

CHE’s magnificence impressed us the minute we saw her. CHE, being the largest slop rigged catamaran in the world stood out like a true jewel in the sea. Stepping foot onboard we were immediately embraced with CHE’s tranquil ambiance, which set the tone for a spa like journey. CHE’s emblem of ying and yang is a theme reflected throughout this elegant sail yacht. The owner’s wife has created a peaceful environment for guests to comfortably indulge. CHE’s quality detail of bamboo wood and calming sea color accents was perfect for relaxing.

Lead by Captain Daniel our group set sail on this luxurious 114ft catamaran. We soon discovered that CHE is as equally balanced in her ability to maintain a comfortable stability, while traveling at high cruising speeds. It was an exhilarating experience as CHE set sail, with speeds reaching up to 20-25 knots at times.

We were greeted with a revolutionary culinary experience in the galley, with CHE’s talented Chef Anna Maria’s preparation of mico biotic diet inspired foods. These freshly made meals based on ancient Japanese tradition left us feeling refreshed and revitalized.

The professionalism and team work of the entire crew was remarkable. Their ability to communicate between one another with hand signals was amazing, it eliminated any shouting or yelling that sometimes occurs in tense situations with rough seas. This crew remained relaxed, friendly, and extremely helpful. It was incredible the way the Captain could read us just as well as the seas, offering suggestions to new venture spots we found ideal.
