BLACK SWAN 1899, ex Brynhild, was commissioned by MAjor Selwin Calvery. A gaff yawl designed by Charles E. Nicholson, she was launched at Camper & Nicholsons yard of Gosfort, England in 1899.

Black Swan has undergone a major refit in 2000/2002, where most of the bottom planking was renewed and the whole deck structure has been carefully reconditioned. She got a complete new set of spars and rigging and the two original engines have been rebuilt, as well as all technical, electric and plumbing equipment.

Now that the refit is completed, BLACK SWAN 1899 is one of the largest and oldest classic sailing yachts in the world.

BLACK SWAN sleeps comfortably 10 guests. The Owner's cabin has a large double bed to port and a settee to starboard with its own ensuite shower/toilets and two washbasins.

Guests accommodation is formed of five cabins offering various alternative of berths organization. Forward the saloon are two guest cabins with upper and lower berths. On aft, there are two additional guest cabins with large bed plus extra pullman berth. All guest cabins have ensuite showerroom and toilets.
