Sunreef Yachts Charter is in Mexico to host a fun-filled getaway for our industry friends during our FAM trip onboard the world-class and elegantly-appointed Sunreef 60 Power charter yacht FOREVER. In addition to sampling the luxe accommodations, service and amenities onboard the yacht, guests are being treated to the complete luxury charter experience, with a resort stay at the exquisite Hotel Villa Rolandi in charming Isla Mujeres, visits to some of the local area’s most popular excursions, and cruises along the stunning coasts of the Riviera Maya.
Upon their arrival, guests received a warm welcome by the crew of FOREVER and the staff of Villa Rolandi. A divine dinner was hosted at the resort’s lovely open and airy restaurant which provided spectacular vistas out on the ocean and dramatic views across the way of downtown Cancun lit up in all of her splendor.
On the first full day there was a grand tour of the island by golf carts which included a stop at the Tortugranja (Turtle Sanctuary), affording guests the opportunity to see the endangered sea turtle at various stages of development. The tour continued to South Point, with a visit to the Punta Sur Sculpture Garden, home to an amazing outdoor collection of sculptures from prominent Latin artists from all over the world.
Next up was a stroll along main street lined with bars, cafes and shops. Along the way, guests picked up some gifts to bring home including local art and pottery before enjoying a late Mexican lunch of delicious guacamole and chips, tuna tartar and fried calamari.
The next day, Villa Rolandi’s yacht Cocoon II sent guests on an exhilarating cruise to the breathtakingly beautiful Isla Contoy, a small uninhabited island filled with birds & offering great swimming! A pirate style lunch of Ceviche and grilled whole hog fish was served up by the wonderful Chef Daniele!
