The Antigua Charter Yacht Show has long served as a showcase of some of the world’s most stunning and luxurious charter mega yachts, charter power boats, charter sailing yachts, and charter catamarans available for the winter season in the Caribbean. At this year’s 51st annual show, the lineup of spectacular yachts was truly impressive and included a wide array of yachts that have already garnered a five-star reputation as well as a number of highly anticipated new yachts that have never been available for charter.
Attended by four yacht charter experts, Sunreef Yachts Charter had the show covered. Here are our top picks as well as some highlights from the show:
Mega Yachts: We absolutely adored the ultra-sophisticated 186’ BAD GIRL from Brooke Yachts International Shipyard and the spectacular Amels Limited Edition 180 new launch 4 YOU.

Power Boats: Nothing compares to a custom designed yacht, the 87’ Watershed II from President Yachts was built to impress and boasts of the most endearing crew.
Sailing Yachts: Our favorites included 3 outstanding yachts from Perini Navi: the 184’ Rosehearty, the 148’ Helios, and the 142’ Victoria as well as the stylish 155’ Scheherazade from Hodgdon Yachts and the beautiful 82’ Nautor’s Swan Inukshuk.
Catamarans: The exquisite 145’ Hemisphere from Pendennis, and the stunning Sunreef catamarans IN THE WIND, ABUELO, DAMRAK II, SKYLARK, MAITA’I and IPHARRA were all top notch.

At the yacht hop, the lively music, delish hors d’oeuvres, flowing libations, and amazing performances ensured that good times were had by all! Stealing the show and taking 1st place in the Andreas Liveras Best Yacht Hop Awards was Lazy Z and their fabulous crew raising funds for breast cancer awareness with their pink party.
Always a highlight of the show, this year’s Concours de Chef Competition was a grand showcase of superb culinary talent that featured the theme of Caribbean infused health-conscious cuisine. Vying for bragging rights of being called Top Chef at the show, competition was fierce at this prestigious event as some of the best charter yacht chefs in the world answered the call of the challenge.
